The writing is very good and the plot is interesting, it's not one of the best P&P variations but the characters are well developed.
Wit and vividness are missing. Good narration

An excellent and unusual story but I really would recommend reading rather than listening, the accent is truly mobile travelling transatlantic back and forth with regular pauses in Ireland for good measure. Maybe this works for a non-British ear but for those who live on the same side of the Atlantic as Jane Austen did may find it a bit much. I am afraid I did.
