I don’t know why I decided to listen to this book, but I very much enjoyed it quirky though it is. It was well read although the very strong American accent was a bit too enthusiastic at times. I learned a lot about the various aspects of redoing a house and I enjoyed the authors interactions with all the experts who told him what they knew. It’s a gentle book that kept my interest throughout and I’m glad that I listen to it.
