Summary

From New York Times best-selling author Angie Fox - a fabulously fun short story in the new Southern Ghost Hunter Mystery series.

Verity Long doesn't want to see ghosts, and she'd rather not let anyone know her little secret, either. But when a restless spirit stirs up trouble in her friend's resale shop, Verity and her very new, very dead gangster friend team up to learn what is really happening. They discover an age-old secret and must learn the truth behind a mysterious disappearance...before it's too late.

Loved it

Lovely short story, very sentimental as you would expect for Christmas although the story itself is not set in December. This has introduced me to an author I have not read before.

Good fun!

animals, comedy, cozy-mystery, e-book, audiobook, fiction, friendship, ghosts, grieving, healing, historical-places-events, humor, mystery, pets, relationships, supernatural, text-to-speech-enabled, whispersync

A fun short story with Verity (graphic design and unexpected ghost whisperer), her little pet skunk, Frank (ghostly gangster of prohibition era), and a cast of many. Verity is dead broke and an outcast in her town for angering the most influential family there. But the owner of the local second-hand shop needs help with a destructive force which has recently been causing havoc. Verity meets more ghosts (with Frank's reluctant help), and embarks on solving the mystery.
Added the Audio, and Tavia Gilbert is great!

Excellent short story

I really enjoyed the story. Verity is a quirky character and Frank is quite the crusty fellow.

Great love story!

I'm loving this series. In this action-packed short story, Verity and Frankie help a ghostly soldier who's looking for the woman he had to leave behind. Of course, I'm a sucker for a good love story!
