The author dives deep, exploring the "why" behind your emotions, equipping you with the knowledge and tools to transform them. I liked the explanation of how our emotions are meant to give us information instead of dictating how we feel. This has helped me separate from my immediate reactions and respond instead of react.

I also really resonated with the "Haven" method of stress relief, although practicing some of these methods while driving is no the best idea!

Thanks so much for this informative and practical knowledge. I do wish they taught this type of stuff in school!

I enjoyed this book and found it very educational. The book is split into three parts, covering how to reduce stress, gain confidence, and feel good. The book offers great insight into human behaviors, refers to scientific studies, and last but not least, is very practical and contains a variety of exercises and tools to implement into one's daily life. These include breathing exercises, mindfulness, meditation, power poses, self-image and self-esteem exercises, and many more. My favorite one was the walking mindfulness exercise, which is so easy to implement and does not take up any additional time - highly recommended for an insightful read!
