‘Dark, compulsive, full of OMG moments. If you think you know where it’s going… YOU DON’T. This is one you won’t forget in a hurry.’ LISA JEWELL

I listen to quite a few books in this genre, although I often find them a little disappointing. This one kept me listening and was well paced with a couple of twists along the way. It was written in the first person and I found the protagonist likeable and the narrator also did a good job voicing her. The subject matter was rather unpleasant at times, but overall it was superior to many books in the genre, although nothing exceptional, hence 4 stars.
