I download this book and was gripped from start to finish. It’s the touching story of Lisa’s life journey and what led her to adopting her daughter Billie. It also taught me a lot. And made me cry. Should be a must read for anyone adopting or anyone close to someone adopting - as it’s a complex journey. Thank you Lisa.

Sometimes what we perceive as to be the ideal, expected life path, is not how life turns out through no fault of our own.
Although my circumstances are very different, the never give up mentality, the opening our minds to potential different paths and lots of determination, helps us get there in the end xx
