Summary

Liar liar, pants on fire....

Carlotta Wren is dazed and confused - everything she thought she knew about her life has been a lie. How can she ever trust anyone again? And where does she go from here?

She hopes a business trip out of town will help to clear her head.... Instead, it lands her in the middle of a murder, as the prime suspect! While Carlotta works frantically to prove her innocence, she's also forced to confront the lies she's been telling herself. If she manages to get out of this mess, she'll have to get real about the kind of life she wants, and the person she wants to spend it with.

If you're looking for laugh-out-loud books, check out the Body Movers series! To-date, titles in the series include:

Party Crashers (prequel)
Body Movers
2 Bodies for the Price of 1
3 Men and a Body
4 Bodies and a Funeral
5 Bodies to Die For
6 Killer Bodies
6 ½ Body Parts
(novella)
7 Brides for 7 Bodies
8 Bodies Is Enough
9 Bodies Rolling
10 Bodies Lying

Q: Do I have to listen to the Body Movers books in order?

A: It's best to listen to the first book, Body Movers, first. But Party Crashers stands alone as a mystery. Carlotta Wren is a secondary character in that book, so you can circle back to enjoy Party Crashers later - and see Carlotta before she was scared straight!

Just randomly stopped writing

How disappointing. I thought my audio booked was messed up because it just stopped at the end of a chapter. I loved this series but I won’t waste my money on another half story like this.

this is a good book but

this book was written to simply make you buy the next one and answered no questions that was left from book 9. it only left you with more questions which of course makes you want to read the next one in line which probably won't be for another 6 months. I call foul on this book.

That's it?

Did you have a deadline to meet so you just ended the book? Talk about a nothing burger. Very disappointing.

Boring.....

This was not one of the best books in the series. Boring and slow. Really disappointing.

A quarter of the story for the same price

I'm not sure what's happened, she's slacking o story line, or her publisher told her make the books half as long then spend half of it rehashing the whole series.
If people are starting in the middle of a series they deserve to be in the dark.
I'm not paying full price for a couple hours of book.
I'm out!

Disappointing

I love the body movers series. This seemed like half a book. They are turning Randolph into an unlikeable character. I felt more for him when he was on the run

Boring with no substance

The stories are getting very boring. It’s the same thing every time in every book. It’s really sad to see that Wesley can never get ahead. A frustrating and boring
read.
