Well I can’t say I understood all of it, but the author, and the narrator, were so engaging I am going to have to listen to it again. And again, probably!

Reflecting on our own world and the mechanics of its existence, Katie Mack handles the subject matter with grace and precision. An existential topic put into words and explained thoroughly to the point that anyone could read it, and draw a conclusion of their own.

This is a super interesting book about the latest ideas in cosmology and particle physics. Beware - it's pretty hard to understand in many places (and I have a science PhD!). It's read very well by Gabra Zackman (apart from her very annoying pronunciation of 'cosmos'). Recommended!

I was very pleased to be reading this as the 2020 Nobel prize in physics was announced - it made the book seem so very topical.
Katie does a great job explaining the big bang theory and then taking us through what has been discovered and what that means for cosmology in the past 30 years or so. there is a good balance between evidence (experiments and observations) what that means for theory.
I really enjoyed this book.
