While it was still an enjoyable listen, it’s begun to fall into the inevitable scenario of police officer who knows better than everyone, thinks police procedures don’t apply to them, when I was enjoying the fact she was just a woman, good at her job. I’ll try another but if this new trait in Matilda’s character continues it will be the last I think.

Please narrators when paid to be reading a book where several of the characters come from Norfolk, please do your homework and give them a Norfolk accent!! Not a West Country accent. Or better still if unsure, don’t do one at all. Norfolk is NOTHING LIKE West Country. Great book. Great story. Almost ruined by truly terrible accents.
