実写版『進撃の巨人』二部作、8月1日公開の前編『進撃の巨人ATTACK ON TITAN』、9月19日公開の後編『進撃の巨人ATTACK ON TITANエンドオブザワールド』は、一度それぞれ鑑賞していた。前編の批評は以前にも発表している。今回、後編のレビューを書く段になって、あらためて二部作を、それも同じ日に鑑賞する事にした。そうすれば、前後編続いている話を、構造的に捉え直すことが出来ると思ったからだ。同時に、この映画の前編は公開当時激しい酷評にさらされ、私もそれらの一部を読んで「そんなにヒドい映画だったのだろうか？　だとしたら、私の目は節穴だったのだろうか？　あるいは作り手側に知己を持つ関係で、無意識の裡に『ひどい部分』を見ないようにしていたのだろうか？」という疑問が湧いてきた。（本文より)切通理作の「映画の友よ」はこちらから→http://yakan-hiko.com/risaku.html
