About this listen

 作家本人と思しき女性が、オーロラ見物と白夜体験のため、真冬と初夏の二度、アラスカを訪ねる、という筋立ての短篇。二月はマイナス30℃近く、ブリザード（猛吹雪）が来れば、遭難しかねず、反対に30℃近くに達する夏は一転、植物の色彩で溢れるが、油断をすると凍土に足をとられ、身動きできなくなる。そんな極地で、作家は「ウルフトラッパー」を名乗る日本人男性と出会う。
