【著者プロフィール】
スティーヴ・マックルーア：東京を拠点とするフリーランスのジャーナリスト、ナレーター。カナダのバンクーバー出身。1985年から日本在住。1998年に日本のポップミュージックに関する初の英語書籍「Nippon Pop」を刊行。2005年には日本の音楽に関するインターネット上の主要な情報源であるnippop.comの設立にも携わった。1999年から2008年までビルボード誌のアジア支局長を務めた。2008年からは、NHKのラジオ番組「実践ビジネス英語」や「現代ビジネス英語」で杉田敏氏との仕事に携わる。2010年からはNHK ワールドでテレビニュースや特集のリライターとして活躍している。
