 日本でいちばん成人発達障害を診つづけてきた医師が、いまいちばん伝えたい「発達障害の人たちが成長する方法」。

加藤医師は、2008年より、日本でいち早く成人発達障害外来を開設し「大人にも」発達障害が存在することが多くの人々に認知されてきました。
大人たちの「診断」には、より時間をかけた成育歴の聴取や、他のあらゆる疾患との「鑑別」（見分けること）など、さまざまな点で「プロの視点」を通して行われなければなりません。
また、「診断して終わり」という発達障害医療そのものにも、加藤医師は新たな変革を成し遂げようとしています。
