His protagonists are outcasts, marginalized by society, who work through outrageous scenarios toward inspiring outcomes. ​ Tom's new book, Let Milo Open the Door, is a prequel of sorts to Super G and tells the tale of Milo, an angst-ridden player who was dealt a terrible hand. Set on Nantucket in 1989, it is a darkly comic coming-of-age tale filled with humor, hope, existential conflict, and redemption. ​Tom earned a degree in creative writing from MCLA and lives with his family in West Newbury, Massachusetts.
