Taylor Cole Miller is an Assistant Professor of media studies in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. He is a media communication and critical cultural studies scholar whose teaching and research investigates the interrelatedness of critical media history, policy, identity, and production. He is also a content creator, producing TikToks about the history of television under the name tvdoc. Miller is former Academic Director of the Peabody Awards and has also appeared in popular media including The Huffington Post, NPR's Marketplace, Bustle, The Daily Beast, and the Internet Archive.
