Stephen Kechulius grew up in Portland, Oregon, and is a graduate of Texas Christian University. He and his wife, piano teacher, Carol Janson Kechulius, live on the Upper Westside of Manhattan.
Mr. Kechulius performed the leading dramatic baritone roles of the opera stage in seventeen countries on four continents, as well as hundreds of vocal recitals across the United States and Canada.
After many years, Stephen left his distinguished singing career to explore more deeply his passion for the piano and his immense love of writing.
