Spencer Lord worked for Frank Casey in the Warner Bros. publicity office while attending the University of Chicago. He left University to travel throughout Asia—teaching ESL, and working for Mother Teresa in Calcutta, India. Spencer was a full-time comedy writer and filmmaker when his mother, a clinical psychotherapist, sparked his interest in cognitive psychology, and he began researching and developing the cognitive exercises presented in his hit book: The Brain Mechanic - www.TheBrainMechanic.com.
