Rachel Tey is a part-time university lecturer, where she teaches academic writing. Her latest novel, Finding Chopin, was a finalist of the Epigram Books Fiction Prize 2025 and a Straits Times Weekly Bestseller. She also authored the middle-grade fantasy adventure series, Tea in Pajamas and Tea in Pajamas: Beyond Belzerac, and published three short stories in various anthologies. Rachel was awarded the National Arts Council grant in 2015, and was a featured speaker at the Singapore Writers Festival in 2016 and 2025. She lives in Singapore with her husband and two children.
