Molly is an author and journalist who writes about books, technology and the power of stories to change lives. Her debut novel, The Charmed Life of Alex Moore - described as Bridget Jones meets the Matrix - has been praised as "utterly original" (Stylist) and "deeply delicious" (SFX). Molly is Comment Editor for The Bookseller, co-programmes FutureBook (the biggest books conference in the UK) and writes about books, tech and publishing for publications such as the Guardian and the BBC. During the pandemic she co-founded Big Book Weekend with author Kit de Waal: a free virtual book festival accessible to all, supported by BBC Arts and Arts Council England. She lives in London with her husband and two kids, but still spends as much of her spare time as possible in the countryside, ignoring her phone and making stuff up.
