Michail Kölling is a software developer and tech book author living in San Francisco.
Michail grow up in Minnesota, as a kid he was always attracted by video games and soon he fell in love with the world of programming and coding. There is where everything started!
With a Master's degree from MIT and full of ideas, he realized that there's a huge difference between knowing how to program and having all the skills to be a successful, professional software developer. He decided to work as freelancer to develop different project and quickly after he started to work for some of the leading software companies in the United States and built up extensive knowledge of software design and development.
His desire to share his programming knowledge led him to start teaching students and eventually to write his book series. Since then, his mentorship has turned into a collaboration with other authors for the website CodingHood and in the developing of innovative software solutions.
