Marcello Risicato was born in Catania in 1976. After graduating in Medicine and specializing in Internal Medicine in Rome, he returned to his native Sicily, where he works and writes 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫, poems, and essays. In 2022, he published his first novel entitled “𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐮𝐞 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐞,” which won over the public thanks to its compelling plot and engaging style. The book has, sold more than 𝟏𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐞 in a year and participated in the 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐨 𝐝𝐢 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐨 (𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐓𝐨) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑. His second thriller novel of 2023 “𝐋𝐞 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐢 𝐝𝐢 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐨𝐱𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐲”, also selected for the 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐓𝐨 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, surpassed the first in terms of success and copies sold. In November 2024, his third novel was released, entitled “𝐈𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐳𝐳𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐠𝐢𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐚” was also selected for the 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐓𝐨 𝟐𝟐𝟐𝟒, 𝐮𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐨.
