Author Lori Ries was born in Syracuse, NY. Much of her early childhood was spent on her grandparents farm, where she was the Queen of Grasshoppers and made dandelion stone pie for lunch. Her imagination grew along with her storytelling. Lori's award winning books have been called "little gems" and delight children everywhere. She has three children and nine grandchildren and lives in Utah with her husband, David, and their dog, Molly.
