My book is about my journey to get to know my dad who died when I was three. He was a coach for the Chicago Cubs so I embarked on a baseball quest that brought me face to face with the grief I had been running from for decades. This is a baseball love story that begins in the golden age of baseball and ends with the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series narraated by a lost little girl than finds her power and her own voice.
I describe myself as a well-rounded dilettante which means I have mastered nothing but dabbled in many things.
I live in Charlotte, North Carolina with my sons who are my favorite people.
