Colonel (Dr) Larry C. James is an award-winning author, psychologist, executive, and military officer. He has served as the Dean, School of Professional Psychology, and Associate Vice President at Wright State University. Previously, he served for more than two decades in the Military and was the Chair of the Department of Psychology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Defense Superior Service Medal for his distinguished combat service. Dr James was also awarded the Colonel John Flanagan Life-Time Achievement Award by the Society of Military Psychology. He is the Past President of The Hawaii Psychological Association, the Society of Military Psychology, and The American Board of Clinical Health Psychology. Dr James is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and is Board-certified in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Health Psychology. Dr James has published over ten books and more than one-hundred scientific papers.
