Gordon L. Atwell is a leading expert in agronomy and greenhouse cultivation. He learned to farm as a child on his property in Sacramento, California. His family has a long farming tradition and his grandfather passed on his passion for land and plants to Gordon. His studies have always been strongly oriented: first, the College of Agricultural & Environmental Science where he graduated with honors, and then his undergraduate degree at the University of California Davis. After moving to the city for study and work reasons, Gordon L. Atwell had to modify his cultivation technique to adapt it to the urban environment. Thus, his great expertise in hydroponics and aquaponics was born in this way. Gordon L. Atwell first passed on his knowledge by teaching in training courses, but in the end, he decided to share all his experience by writing a series of books, which have become a reference for all those who want to learn the art of hydroponic growing.
