Christian Mallia is a fiction writer, passionate about carving new worlds by merging a smidge of reality with a heavy dose of fantasy. Although his interest in storytelling began as a child, it came to fruition when completing his first novel while sailing as a newly graduated officer in the United States Navy. Eventually trading the ship's helm for the pursuit of something greater, he continues to immerse himself in his own voyages, drawing inspiration from the foreign places he travels to and the curious characters he tends to encounter along the way. With a habit of daydreaming about what is and what could be, his stories transport readers to unique times and settings, allowing them to explore and share in his adventures, page-by-page.
Blockheads Workshop was founded in 2019 when Christian and his two lifelong friends, brothers Sean and Cole Nasta, naturally refined each other’s work as they put pen to paper. Today, the workshop partners with aspiring authors to develop their writing techniques and story-building skills, enabling the narratives in their minds to come to life and be shared with the rest of the world through publication.
