Cairelle Crow Perilloux is a genealogist, integrative nurse, priestess of bees, stars, and sacred roots, and a daughter-descendant of mitochondrial haplogroup H. With over two decades of experience in traditional and genetic genealogy, she is dedicated to connecting people to their own genealogy magic by teaching them how to research their ancestral lineages, and she presents lectures and educational workshops all over the world. She is the author of The Magic in Your Genes and co-editor of the Brigid’s Light anthology. Her next book, Motherline Grimoire, is coming Autumn 2026 from Weiser Books. When she’s not riding on a Mardi Gras float in her native New Orleans or globetrotting in search of grandmothers, quirky art, and stone circles, Cairelle is home in her cozy forest cottage in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
