Bryan Miller was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and lived there until he went to university in London. He studied for a business degree but the idea of working in the corporate world soon lost its appeal to him and he left to begin a career as an entrepreneur. Twenty years later and with a series of successful companies behind him, Bryan was involved in a life-changing event that altered the way he thought and acted. Suffering from anxiety and depression brought on by his experience, Bryan decided that living his life to work was no longer an option. He quit all his business interests, sold his flat and moved first to the south of Spain and then to Portugal. This lifestyle instantly and the ability to move wherever and whenever he chose, appealed to him and before long Bryan was taking trips much farther afield. And it was during one such trip to Cambodia that he uncovered something that drastically improved his conditions. The activation of his Vagus Nerve completely cured him of the anxiety he felt and with that his depression quickly disappeared too. Impressed by the results, Bryan then decided to investigate further and then wrote his first book on the subject. Vagus Nerve: Freedom from Anxiety, Trauma and Depression Through Polyvagal Therapy is now available through Amazon and Bryan is excited by the positive feedback he has already received. In his spare time, Bryan likes to sample new and interesting cuisine and loves to immerse himself in the cultures of the countries he visits. He continues to travel widely and has no plans to settle in one place any time soon, although he does like to return to his native Scotland periodically.
