Wars can never do any good. The ongoing civil war in Syria, which started in 2011, is a live example of this. The unrest has killed more than a hundred thousand civilians and displaced many more from their homeland. Author and computer scientist Ayman Hasan was also a victim of this war, but he went on to write his inspiring story of success.
Born on July 7, 1998, Ayman Hasan, at just 21 years of age, has faced some of life's toughest challenges. The civil war in his country forced him to escape from his homeland to save his life, leaving his family behind. Ayman, who studied at Almanara School in Aleppo, was an intelligent and studious child. After leaving Syria, he sought refuge in many countries, including Serbia, where he spent seven days in jail as an illegal migrant. Finally, in 2015, he was granted asylum in Dortmund, Germany. There, he learned the German language for six months and restarted his education.
Restarting life in a different country without family or any support was indeed very difficult, but Ayman persisted. He completed his high school diploma and then earned a degree in computer science from universities in Leipzig and Berlin in 2018.
After working as an AI researcher for T-Labs and Google, Ayman Hasan turned entrepreneur and launched his own venture, Aylabs, in 2017. Aylabs focuses on research and development in the field of artificial intelligence and autonomous driving. This was his first startup venture. Following this, he founded Aysolutions in 2018, which works in the field of cybersecurity, and Aycapital Investment in 2019, a company that offers investments in the stock and Forex markets.
At such a young age, Ayman Hasan's intelligence, risk-taking ability, and leadership qualities are definitely praiseworthy. But his accomplishments don't stop there. Ayman Hasan is also an accomplished writer. The young man who has faced the harsh realities of life at a very young age shared his experiences in his book, The Defector: Story of a Syrian Fate, which details his life and struggles. His second book, Heimat – Niemand verlässt seine Heimat, es sei denn, sie ist das Maul von einem Hai (Homeland: No one leaves his homeland unless it is the mouth of a shark), is the German version of his first book.
So many accomplishments at such a young age prove that Ayman Hasan is no ordinary man; he is someone with an indomitable spirit, excelling and winning in the toughest situations.
