Entertaining story

This is an entertaining, erotic story with a healthy side of BDSM/torture/subjugation of the female characters. I expected the darker elements, but I will say that if you are sensitive to such things, you may want to skip this audiobook. I found the underlying story interesting, especially the sort of friendship that develops between the mage and the daemon, and the history of the Black Magician's people. Not everyone gets a happy ending, but I found justice in the ending.

The narration was pretty good. I definitely didn't have any trouble telling the characters apart.
