I was eagerly anticipating this book, and as soon as I realised book 2 had been released on audible, I downloaded and read immediately….
The plus points are Theo and Madison, they are Xero and Amy and no one else could cover these characters the way they do. Theo’s voice has me enthralling, 💯 a dark romance voice!!! Amazing!!

Now the down side, I did not like the beginning of the book, to go over book 1 from when Amy sets the catacombs on fire to me is too much. If there was a huge gap between books I could understand a re cap, but I will break you was only released in September! I think it was a bit of a cop out, and If I am right there where around 45 chapters covering the first book, it may even be more. Yeah, there’s a little more detail but it was totally unnecessary! I actually nearly gave up, but I had confidence in Gigi to give me what I needed from this story, which was closure and closure I got. The story is tied up and finished and I am happy with the ending! I just wish it was all concluded in book 1!
This book is worth listening to, if only for Zephers voice!! It’s got gore, spice and a decent story too.
