About this listen

Luca

I’m on the run.

Beaten and bruised physically and emotionally. I don’t know if my Master is dead or alive and people are trying to track me down. But I don’t want to be found. Especially not by the guy who violated me.

Scared and hurting, I’m picked up on the highway by a bulky guy driving a shiny red semi. With a full russet beard, a kind smile and warm eyes, he says I can trust him.

But, can I?

With no other options, I climb aboard. And as the miles begin to stretch out leaving California in the rear-view mirror, I didn't know it then, but my healing begins.

However, a journey to recovery is not without landmines. Nor without a circle of people that love you, including a new family in the Midwest of all places. A gay papa bear with a heart bigger than his belly, his lace-loving husband, and a slobbering bullmastiff, named Jewel. What were the chances of the same name that Master called me?

Healing Luca, book two of the Obedience BDSM series, is part two of an MM+ duology, an emotional rollercoaster ride with loads of hurt/comfort, age gap, a cutie nicknamed putto searching for a forever Daddy and a hard won, heartwarming HEA.

Warning: This book is intended for an adult audience and contains scenes which may trigger some people. Please read Author's Note for trigger warnings that include mention of sexual assault/abuse.

On the run, Luca's luck suddenly takes a turn for the better. A Good Samaritan helps him heal physically, if not mentally. Can't say I'm entirely convinced by some characters' motivations but it's still an engaging read.

The luckiest ride ever?
