This is a very short introduction to Chayse and Bourden's story that tells of their first encounter although they didn't meet. Chayse is an attractive human woman who whilst out hunting came across a buck but before she could get off her shot, her prey was killed by a large golden bear.

The bear is Bourden a man who's family suffer from a curse which turns them into a bear under certain circumstances.

What will happen when the two meet as humans? We have to wait for the next instalment to find out. Personally, I would have liked to listen to more than just this short introduction and I would have liked to hear a little more of a distinction between the characters from the narrator.
