The Harding Hall Mysteries

In Dying Horribly at Harding Hall, Book 1 of the Harding Hall Mystery Series, we meet a wealthy, aristocratic English family — generation after generation — of lecherous and greedy muttonheads. The story focuses on 11 mysterious deaths, with several extras along the way. There’s dry and sly humor from the start, but it’s only as the tapestry unfolds that we realize the truth — and the truth is becoming more and more crazed.  

Lars, it seems, now has the brawn, brains, and bravery (as well as the money) to do anything he wants, so he decides to open a detective agency in London. While chasing miscreants and cheating husbands, he soon finds himself entangled inside the web of Germany's most dangerous spy. 

Sir Lars Harding is now a diligent and well-respected gentleman. His factories and shipping company work around the clock to help England win the war. Then, Loris, his brother, returns to London and distracts him with the unsolved Harding Hall murders. Lars and Loris soon learn that the mystery is far more convoluted and bizarre than they had ever imagined.

Someone sank a luxury yacht in Newport, Rhode Island. No one seems interested in solving the mystery except the man wrongly accused of doing it.

Lars Harding travels to Boston to help a man. However, he learns right away that this man is missing, and no one, including the police, want him found.
