Galactic Merc

I write romance novels. Or I did. Now I’m learning how to survive in a galaxy that treats combat like a game. After being snatched from Earth and rescued by mercenaries, I discover the universe runs on contracts, credits, and cold math. Stats decide who lives. Levels decide who dies. I can’t afford a ride home, and Earth is under siege by aliens who don’t respect boundaries or planets. So when the mercenary company offers me a deal, I accept. I’ll train. I’ll level up. I’ll fight. Because if I ever want to see Earth again, I’ll have to earn it one kill at a time.

It’s not part of the Galactic Consortium, and that’s a good thing for the shady alien races lurking in the shadows, ready to snatch up anyone they can. When I was abducted by the Grays during a camping trip, I found myself thrust into a mercenary life I never asked for. Now I’m a Level 2 merc with one goal: to reclaim my home and protect my loved ones. I might accidentally save the galaxy, but that’s not really my focus.
