Life used to be simple: work during the week, ghost-hunting on the weekends. I was always better with ghosts than guys, anyway. But life gets a lot more complicated when a violent haunting threatens our paranormal investigation team and a sexy stranger who claims to be a demon is the only one who can help.

Things go to Hell in Savannah. Life is good for Betty “Boo” Boorman. Things are going great with her demon boyfriend Maxwell, and her paranormal investigation team is busier than ever as Halloween approaches. But things go to hell - literally - when Maxwell is banished by a demon hunter. As Betty tries to cope with her grief, another demon enters her life, and he offers her a deal: Betty’s soul for Maxwell’s rescue. Time is running out for Betty to make a decision, and the ghosts of Savannah, Georgia, aren’t making the task any easier.

Am I going crazy? I keep thinking that I see Maxwell everywhere I go. Just glimpses, but it’s enough that I can’t move on like I know I’m supposed to. So, when my rival, ghost hunter Carter, asks me to help him investigate reports about zombies at an abandoned island resort, I jump at the chance. I’m definitely going crazy for teaming up with that arrogant jerk. First, I’m ambushed by a reality TV crew, then I come face-to-face with walking corpses. They might look like zombies, but there’s something sad about them.

I expected the demon hunters to attack, so I’m surprised when it’s the ghosts of Savannah who begin lashing out at me instead. Our paranormal investigation team is dealing with one violent haunting after another, and they all have eerie similarities to past cases we’ve worked on.
