Does your child feel torn between two homes? "We want to talk to you about something." Eleven-year-old Sofia knew something was wrong all day—she just didn't know one kitchen-table conversation would split her world in two. Both is a children's divorce book for kids ages 6-12 that follows Sofia as she navigates the feelings no one talks about: the duffel bag she never packs right, a birthday that needs the planning of a diplomatic summit, and the impossible question everyone keeps asking.

When her parents divorced, twelve-year-old Sofia learned how to survive. Two houses. One duffel bag. A sketchbook she never showed anyone. For two years, being fine was enough. But fine isn't the same as okay. More is a book for kids with divorced parents who are carrying more than anyone knows — the questions they're too scared to ask, the feelings they can't name, the hope they keep putting down and picking back up again. Through Sofia's honest, funny, quietly heartbreaking voice, young listeners will find themselves throughout the book.

The divorce was supposed to be the hard part. Sofia thought she was finally okay. Then Dad sat her down and said, "There's someone I've been spending time with". Sofia is twelve now. Life between two homes finally feels almost normal — she has her packing routine memorized, her sketchbook always in the bag, and a best friend who can read her face through a phone screen. Eleven was the year everything fell apart. Twelve was supposed to be the year she put it back together. But twelve has other plans.
