Spurgeon’s Forgotten Sabbatarianism seeks to document Charles Spurgeon’s teaching and practice on the Christian Sabbath. By looking at his biography through his Sunday activities, the listener will see how Spurgeon believed Sabbath observance required laboring for the Lord through worship, preaching, singing, evangelism, Sunday School ministry, and private devotion.

A Reformed Baptist is a Christian who believes in the great doctrines recovered by the Protestant Reformation, including the sufficiency of Scripture for the church, salvation by God's free grace, justification by faith alone, the importance of God's good law and the gospel of Jesus Christ, the centrality of the church in the life of the believer, and the great doctrine of Christian liberty.

This book contains a defense of the idea that God’s rest on Day 7 of the creation week is instructive for people today. More technically, this book argues for the propriety of weekly Sabbath rest. This means that the normal pattern to be followed by humanity is a week, consisting of seven 24-hour days, six of which are spent in work while the other day is devoted to rest. Theologians would use the language of God’s rest being a “creation ordinance,” which is a term that many theologians use, but none have defined.

This is an expanded edition of the book originally published in 1991. It was also previously published a couple times with updated content. This contains all the content from all previous editions, edited and updated with a new, never before published chapter, “A Christian Approach to Racism”.

My hope is that these letters, originally written to support my sister through her suffering, will provide some comfort and encouragement to other fellow-sufferers who are walking a hard path.
