In 1998 rogue scientists developed and built a working time machine. During their travels they were lost to time and the machine all but forgotten. In 2020 a group of pop culture enthusiasts inadvertently stumbled upon this device at a swap meet, but instead of using it to eradicate disease or produce world peace, they use it to stumble around in the past and inevitably mess things up.
