Che non sia un lavoro come gli altri è chiaro fin da subito, visto che sulla funivia diretta all'altopiano lo accompagnano un carabiniere e un poliziotto di rango e che di fronte all'hotel c'è un dispiegamento di forze armate che Roberto ha visto solo alle parate di prima della guerra.
