• BONUS: Does life feel harder immediately after an ADHD diagnosis?
    Nov 4 2026

In this episode Katie and Sam look at your questions and stories.

Getting diagnosed with ADHD can be life changing, a chance to take control and change the habits and behaviours that have made life difficult but accepting that you have ADHD can take a long time.

Realising that all the scaffolding you'd used before to just about make life work has been stripped away and now it's time to start again can be really daunting. Finding new ways to do things is a journey that includes accepting what works for you one day can change the next.

Katie and Sam look at how painful and confusing that time after diagnosis can be, with questions like 'now what?' and 'who am I?' They talk about how things have changed for the better for both of them and discuss how this long journey can have a positive outcome.
