    • Lifen

    • Resilience Care

    • Nabla

In this episode, Florian Rossiaud-Fischer (Director within the Swiss Medical Network, former Chief Innovation Officer at Hôpital de la Tour) gives us a behind-the-scenes perspective of clinicians' and healthcare executives' day-to-day, and how they perceive innovation in it.

  • #0 - Introduction 🇬🇧
    Jan 11 2026

    ☀️ Welcome to Synapse !

Are you passionate about healthcare innovation? Building it? Advocating for its real-world adoption? Your new favorite podcast is here.

This intro episode takes you at the heart of Synapse's mission: reconnecting innovation with our healthcare systems… synapse after synapse.

Despite the excitement around healthcare innovation, many barriers (systemic, operational, financial, regulatory, societal) still stand in the way of real-world adoption.

Synapse is built on the belief that a deep understanding of these barriers, of the complexity of healthcare systems, and of the realities of care delivery, is one of the most powerful tools to turn innovation into real adoption.

These are the barriers we explore alongside key players in health innovation (innovators, healthcare professionals, public decision-makers... ).

Healthcare innovation has a role to play in addressing our societies’ challenges. To do so, it must be relevant by solving concrete needs, and responsible by making the best use of our human, financial, and technological resources.

    Dec 30 2025
