Dianne expresses her enthusiasm for sharing the reasons behind these advancements, highlighting Jamaica's rich musical history and crucial role in shaping copyright laws in the Caribbean region.


    Dianne Daley McClure is a founding partner of FOGA DALEY, established in 2000. She heads the firm's Intellectual Property (IP) Department and handles complex IP, trademark, design and patent prosecution, IP portfolio management, copyright licensing, media, entertainment and sports contracts.


    Dianne was called to the Jamaican Bar in 1990 and has over twenty-seven years of IP law and practice experience. Her first job in the field was as legal director and head of Jamaica's Copyright Office in 1995, where she advised the government on IP policy and legislation and represented Jamaica as an IP Expert at the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), UNESCO and other forums. Dianne participated in the negotiations of the WIPO Internet Treaties adopted in 1996 and later coordinated the establishment of the Jamaica Intellectual Property Office (JIPO) and became acting Chairman of the JIPO Advisory Board.
