• Ep 248 // When You're Doing Your Best but Nothing Seems to Be Changing
    Nov 5 2026

Have you ever felt like you're putting in the effort, praying, being faithful, and doing everything you know to do, but nothing seems to be changing? It can be discouraging when you're working hard, investing in your family, growing in your faith, and trying to move forward, yet you aren't seeing the progress you hoped for.

But what if we're measuring progress by what we can see, while God is doing something much deeper than we realize?

In this episode of the Faith Led Working Moms Podcast, we're talking about trusting God when life feels stuck and learning to recognize that His work in our lives isn't limited to what we can immediately see or measure. Just because we aren't seeing visible results doesn't mean nothing is happening.

Through Philippians 1:6, we're reminded that God is faithful to continue the good work He has begun in His people. His work isn't dependent on our ability to recognize the progress or understand everything He's doing along the way.

The waiting isn't wasted. God can use the experiences, challenges, and ordinary parts of our journey to develop our faith and bring about fruit we may not recognize until much later.

If you're feeling discouraged because things aren't changing as quickly as you hoped, this episode is a reminder that God is present in the journey, not just at the destination.

    In this episode, we'll explore:

    • Why it's easy to measure progress by what we can see.

    • How to trust God's work when we don't recognize what He's doing.

    • Why the waiting isn't wasted, even when circumstances remain unchanged.

    • How God can use the journey to deepen our faith and produce fruit over time.

    • What Philippians 1:6 teaches us about God's faithfulness to complete the work He begins.

    Scripture Reference: Philippians 1:6

A reminder to carry with you: The absence of visible progress isn't evidence of God's absence. He is faithful to the work He has begun.

  • Ep 247 // Who Takes Care of the Woman Everyone Depends On?
    Nov 3 2026

Being the person everyone depends on can be exhausting. You're the one who remembers, figures things out, makes decisions, and keeps things moving at work and at home. And even when you're tired, you keep showing up because you know how much depends on you.

But in the middle of caring for everyone else, it's easy to forget that you need care, too.

In this episode of the Faith Led Working Moms Podcast, we're talking about the emotional weight of being the dependable one and what it looks like to trust God with the responsibilities and concerns we're carrying. Being responsible doesn't mean we have to feel like everything rests on our shoulders.

Through Psalm 68:19, we're reminded that God daily bears our burdens. He is the One who sustains us, gives strength when we're weary, and cares for us in the middle of our everyday responsibilities.

If you're a working mom who feels like everyone needs something from you, this episode is an encouragement to remember that you're cared for by the same God who enables you to care for everyone else.

    In This Episode, We Discuss:
    • The emotional exhaustion that comes from being the person everyone depends on.

    • Remembering that God sees the woman behind all the responsibilities.

    • Why being dependable doesn't mean we have to rely on our own strength.

    • The difference between being faithful with our responsibilities and feeling responsible for every outcome.

    • Learning to trust God with the things we cannot control.

    Scripture:

Psalm 68:19 — God daily bears our burdens.

Isaiah 40:29 — God gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

A Reminder to Carry With You

We spend so much of our lives being the ones who care for others, meet needs, and carry responsibilities. But we are cared for by the same God who enables us to care for everyone else.

You don't have to have every answer or make everything work. The Lord is your sustainer, and He is faithful to care for you, too.

  • Ep 246 // You’re Allowed to Have a Hard Day Without Making It a Bad Life
    Oct 29 2026

Some days leave us feeling like we're falling short in just about every area of life. We didn't get enough done, we weren't as patient as we wanted to be, and we're ready for a fresh start. But a difficult day doesn't tell the whole story of our lives.

In this episode of the Faith Led Working Moms Podcast, we're talking about how to give ourselves grace when the day hasn't gone as planned and how to stop letting one hard day shape the way we see our entire lives. As working Christian moms, it's easy to focus on what we didn't accomplish or where we fell short, especially when we're already tired and carrying so many responsibilities.

But a difficult day is an experience we're having, not a verdict on who we are.

Through the truth of Lamentations 3:22–23, we're reminded that God's mercies are new every morning and His faithfulness doesn't depend on how well yesterday went. We can acknowledge where we need to grow, bring our struggles to the Lord, and receive His grace without turning every difficult moment into a judgment about ourselves.

In this episode, we'll reflect on how to:

    • Stop measuring our lives by a single difficult day.

    • Give ourselves grace when we fall short of our expectations.

    • Recognize areas where we need to grow without becoming overly critical of ourselves.

    • Remember God's faithfulness when we feel discouraged or unproductive.

    • Release the pressure to figure everything out before we can move forward.

One thing to remember when the day is hard: Don't let a hard day tell you a story God hasn't told you.

You don't have to solve your whole life tonight. You can entrust yesterday to God, receive His mercy, and meet tomorrow with the grace He provides.

    Scripture for This Episode

Lamentations 3:22–23 — God's steadfast love and compassion never fail. His mercies are new every morning, and great is His faithfulness.

  • Ep 245 // Experiencing Gratefulness When You Feel Completely Empty
    Oct 27 2026

Sometimes we're so exhausted by everything we're carrying that even the good things in our lives become hard to see. We know we have reasons to be grateful, but when we're overwhelmed, stretched thin, and running on empty, experiencing that gratefulness can feel difficult.

In this episode of the Faith Led Working Moms Podcast, we're exploring how to experience gratitude when we're exhausted and struggling to recognize God's goodness in the middle of our everyday responsibilities.

As working Christian moms, we spend so much of our time giving, serving, making decisions, and caring for the people around us. When our minds are consumed with everything that needs to be done, it's easy to overlook the ways God is providing for us and working in our lives.

But practicing biblical gratitude doesn't mean pretending we're not tired or convincing ourselves that everything is wonderful. We can be grateful for our families and still feel overwhelmed. We can recognize God's provision and still need rest. We can feel completely empty and still acknowledge His faithfulness.

In this episode, we'll talk about how to shift our attention toward God's goodness without turning gratitude into another expectation on our already-full plates. We'll explore how small moments of intentional thankfulness can help us recognize what is good, even when our circumstances haven't changed.

    In this episode, we'll explore:

    • Why gratitude can feel difficult when we're mentally and physically exhausted.

    • How overwhelm can shift our attention toward what's unfinished, missing, or demanding our energy.

    • What Psalm 103:2 teaches us about remembering God's goodness.

    • Why gratitude doesn't require us to ignore difficult emotions or deny our limitations.

    • Simple ways to begin noticing God's faithfulness when we're running on empty.

    • How to practice gratefulness while also recognizing our need for rest, help, and healthy boundaries.

    Scripture mentioned: Psalm 103:2

Gratitude isn't about pretending life is easy or forcing ourselves to feel thankful. It's about learning to recognize God's goodness even in the middle of an exhausting day.

We can be tired and thankful. We can feel empty and still acknowledge God's faithfulness. And sometimes, gratefulness begins with something as simple as pausing long enough to remember that God has not stopped being good.

Thanks for listening to the Faith Led Working Moms Podcast, where we're learning to live faithfully instead of frantically.

  • Ep 244 // Why Do I Lose My Patience With My Kids? Biblical Help for Christian Moms
    Oct 22 2026

Losing your patience with your kids is one of the most common struggles for Christian working moms, and the guilt that follows can feel heavy. In this episode, we talk about why it happens, what God’s Word says, and how to move forward with grace instead of shame.

Most of the time, losing your patience isn’t really about the thing in front of you. It’s the moment your capacity ran out. After a full day of decisions, managing people, and holding it together, the people we love most often get whatever is left. Understanding what’s underneath changes how we respond.

    In this episode, you’ll hear:

    • Why losing your patience is rarely just about the moment in front of you
    • What it means that your capacity ran out, and why working moms feel it so strongly
    • What the Bible says about gentleness, anger, and parenting
    • Why God is slow to anger with you, and why He remembers that we are dust
    • The difference between conviction and condemnation, and how to tell whose voice you’re hearing
    • A simple three-step way to repair with your child: name it, take responsibility, reconnect
    • Why the word “but” cancels an apology
    • A one-sentence prayer for the moment before you react
    • When to talk with a pastor, counselor, or trusted friend

    Scripture referenced (NIV):

    • Proverbs 15:1: “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”
    • James 1:19-20: “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.”
    • Ephesians 6:4: Parents are told not to provoke their children to anger, but to bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
    • Psalm 103:8, 13-14: “The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.” God has compassion on His children and remembers that we are dust.
    • 1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
    • Romans 8:28: God works for the good of those who love Him.

    Key takeaways:

    1. Look underneath. Losing your patience usually reveals how much you were already carrying. Ask, “What was going on in me before that moment?”
    2. Conviction moves you toward repair. Condemnation moves you toward hiding. God corrects you to restore you, never to shame you.
    3. Repair beats perfection. Name it, own it, and reconnect. Your child learns more from a mom who repairs than from a mom who pretends she never needs to.
    4. Pray in the moment. When you feel the heat rising, take a breath and pray, “Lord, help me.”

Your reminder for this week: The next time you lose your patience, don’t condemn yourself. Go back, name it, own it, and reconnect.

  • Ep 243 // Christian Working Mom Encouragement: You’re Doing Good Work
    Oct 20 2026

If you’re a Christian working mom battling guilt, exhaustion, or the feeling that you’re failing at home or at work, this episode is for you. In just a few minutes, we talk about why your job and your kids are both part of God’s calling on your life, and how to let go of the pressure to do it all perfectly.

    In this episode, you’ll hear:

    • Why the “mom guilt” voice is not the voice of the Lord
    • How your work can be an act of faith, not a competition with it
    • Why good enough is not a failure, and where God’s grace covers the gaps
    • Why you are not the Holy Spirit, and what it looks like to release what isn’t yours to carry
    • Why rest is part of faithfulness, even in the middle of a busy season
    • What your kids are learning as they watch you walk out your calling
    • A closing prayer for tired, stretched-thin working moms

    Scripture referenced (NIV):

    • Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”
    • 2 Corinthians 12:9: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
    • Psalm 127:1: “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.”
    • Mark 6:31: “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”

    Three takeaways:

    1. Good enough is not a failure. Grace covers the gaps you can’t.
    2. You are not the Holy Spirit. Do your part, release the rest, and let God be God.
    3. Rest is trust. Taking a break in the middle of the work is an act of obedience, not laziness.

  • Ep 242 // The Beauty of a Really Ordinary Life
    Oct 15 2026

Do your days feel repetitive, like you’re just getting through them? In this short episode, we talk about how the ordinary parts of life, like packing lunches, answering emails, doing dishes, and caring for your family, aren’t a distraction from the life God has called you to. They can be an expression of worship. If you’ve ever wondered whether your everyday faithfulness matters to God, this episode is for you.

What you’ll learn in this episode

    • Why most of life happens on an ordinary Tuesday, and why that matters
    • How Colossians 3:23 shows that whatever we do can be done for the Lord
    • How worship goes beyond Sunday mornings and quiet time to include work, family, and daily responsibilities
    • Why you don’t have to make your life extraordinary to live a faithful one
    • How to enjoy the life you have right now instead of always waiting for the next season
    • Why your worth is never measured by how much you accomplish

    Scripture referenced

    • Colossians 3:23 (NIV): “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”

    Key takeaways

    1. Ordinary faithfulness is worship. Working with integrity, loving your family when you’re tired, and keeping your word can all be offerings to God.
    2. You’re responding to God’s love, not earning it. Productivity doesn’t determine your worth.
    3. Everyday life is part of your walk with God. It’s where much of that walk happens, so you don’t have to wait for a different life to live a faithful one.
    4. Notice the gifts in the middle of a normal day. A good conversation, a meal everyone enjoys, a quiet drive home, or a funny comment from your child are all worth enjoying without guilt.

  • Ep 241 // Why Am I So Hard on Myself When God Isn’t? | Faith & Grace
    Oct 13 2026
We can believe in God’s grace and still be incredibly hard on ourselves. As working Christian moms, we often carry high expectations for how we should show up at work, parent our children, manage our responsibilities, and grow in our faith. When we fall short, it's easy to replay our mistakes, focus on what we could have done better, and wonder why we can't seem to get it all right. But what if some of the pressure we're carrying comes from expectations God never placed on us? In this episode of the Faith Led Working Moms Podcast, we're exploring why we can struggle to extend ourselves the same grace we believe God so freely gives us. We'll look at the difference between God's standard of faithfulness and the unrealistic expectations we place on ourselves, and how we can take responsibility for our choices without living under constant self-criticism. In this episode, you'll discover: Why working Christian moms can become so hard on themselves when they feel they've fallen short. The difference between God's standards and the worldly expectations we often use to measure our lives. How the desire to be faithful can quietly turn into the pressure to be perfect. The biblical difference between conviction and condemnation. How to recognize when you're taking responsibility for a mistake versus punishing yourself for it. Practical ways to respond to your shortcomings with biblical wisdom, humility, and grace. Scripture referenced: Micah 6:8 — Walking humbly with God. 2 Corinthians 12:9 — God's grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness. Romans 8:1 — There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6 — Trusting God to continue His work in us. A reminder for your week: The next time you find yourself disappointed in how you handled something, pause and ask yourself: Am I responding to something the Lord is showing me, or am I measuring myself against expectations I've placed on my own shoulders? You can take responsibility, make changes, and continue growing in your faith without demanding perfection from yourself. God has called you to faithfulness, not flawless performance. Ready to live more intentionally? If you're a working Christian mom who feels overwhelmed by competing responsibilities and wants to align your priorities with God's Word, explore Faithfully Balanced, my four-week self-led course designed to help you establish biblical priorities, create healthier boundaries, and approach your responsibilities with greater intention.
