Hi, Friend! I'm Lindsay Walker, a Certified Christian Life Coach, teacher, and working mom of three.

For years, I lived overwhelmed—trying to balance career, motherhood, responsibilities, and faith while constantly feeling like I was falling short. I struggled with stress, anxiety, mom guilt, and the pressure to be everything to everyone.

Everything began to change when I stopped relying on my own strength and started intentionally prioritizing my relationship with God. Through Scripture, prayer, healthy boundaries, and sustainable rhythms, I discovered a more faithful and balanced way to live.

Now I'm passionate about helping other working Christian moms do the same.

On this podcast you'll learn:

• How to overcome overwhelm, anxiety, and burnout as a Christian mom

• Biblical encouragement for difficult seasons of motherhood

• Practical time management and productivity strategies for busy working moms

• How to create healthy boundaries without guilt

• Ways to strengthen your faith when life feels busy and chaotic

• How to become more present with your family while honoring your responsibilities

• Simple rhythms that help you stay rooted in Christ and aligned with your priorities

How Do I Stay Connected to My Kids When Life Feels So Busy? | Ep. 209

Do you ever look at your child and wonder, "How are they growing up this fast?"

One minute you're tying their shoes and helping them sound out words. The next, they're driving, getting jobs, making decisions on their own, and needing you in completely different ways.

As working moms, life is often filled with responsibilities, schedules, commitments, and endless to-do lists. In the midst of it all, many of us quietly wonder:

Am I making the most of the time I have with my kids?

Am I focusing on what truly matters?

Will they remember my presence or my busyness?

In this episode, we're beginning a special three-part parenting series focused on building stronger relationships with our children. You'll be encouraged to step back from the pressure of creating a perfect childhood and instead focus on what God calls us to as parents: faithfulness.

You'll discover why meaningful connection isn't found in doing more, but in being intentional with the moments God has already given you.

    In this episode, you'll learn:

    • Why the goal isn't to do everything, but to invest deeply in what matters eternally • What Deuteronomy 6 teaches us about discipleship in everyday life • How connection with our children is often built through ordinary moments • Why influence doesn't disappear as our children grow older • How to prioritize relationships when life feels busy and overwhelming • A simple question to help you become more intentional with your children this week

Whether you're raising young children, tweens, or teenagers, this episode will encourage you to focus less on perfection and more on faithfully pointing your children toward Jesus.

    Scripture Referenced: Deuteronomy 6:6-7

  • Ep 207 // "She's a Better Christian Than Me" - Breaking Free from the Comparison Trap as a Faith-Led Mom
    Jun 16 2026

Good — I can see exactly how you format your Podbean show notes. Here you go, written to match your style:

Have you ever scrolled through social media and seen another Christian working mom who seems to have it all together — the morning devotionals, the thriving career, the happy kids — and thought, "Why can't I do that? What is wrong with me?"

Friend, that comparison trap doesn't just feel like jealousy. For faith-led women, it feels like spiritual failure. And today we are breaking it wide open.

In this episode we're talking about:

    • Why comparison hits so differently for Christian working moms
    • What Scripture actually says about running YOUR race (Hebrews 12:1, Galatians 6:4)
    • 3 practical, faith-rooted steps to break free from the comparison trap for good

You were not made to run her race. You were made to run yours — faithfully, imperfectly, and for God's glory.
