I first became aware of Chris Whitcomb through Cold Zero so I was excited when I saw this audio version of his novel 'White'.

This novel has a blend of action, espionage and political tension. An interesting plot with different character arces that come together for a twist at the end. It is also nice to see the main villan is not your stereotypical terrorist.

The performance is very good with the narrator using a variety of voices for the different characters.

I only have 2 criticisms. The first is that I expected more traditional HRT action and the second is the main character comes across a bit generic, I felt myself more emotionally attached to his wife and family than himself.

Overall Whitcomb has a talent for this genre and I wish he would have more releases.

A solid spy story
