This title was very well told by Beverley A. Crick.

The tale of itself is interestingly told, but, to be honest, the final 3 chapters are just tedious and there is no satisfactory resolution.

A very disappointing read, so I’m glad that it is an Audible Plus title, I may have resented paying for this.

Enjoyed this tale - the mystery of the curse affecting generations added an interesting dimension to the story. I’d have appreciated an epilogue - as it’s a series, hope to get a bit more of the ‘what next’ for Marcus and Isabelle as a mention in the next book. There is also the ongoing thread about what actually happened back in 1617, don’t think we’ve heard the end of that story yet either….
