So tired of the same kind of romantic storyline it gets boring , so predictable.Spoilt the book for me

I've become fascinated by this series.
My first thought was Too much sex: then I thought I'd really like to study these books.
There seems to be quite a few repeats, or variations of: the sex scenes; the female Vs male antagonism/protagonists; the female being feisty and able but yeilding to the masculine version of herself.

if I could I'd run a programme to evaluate it but I can't anymore. I'm sure there's a definite template - sadly I can't remember a more specific description.

The actual detective parts are quite good 😊

Loved it, and the narrativer was excellent, great story, very well told, sad it finished.

When the body of a woman is found in rural Buffalo Springs, forensic investigator Ramsey Clark is called in and runs head first into Parapsychologist Dev Striker who is in town for his own reasons. Dev's easy going nature and belief in the unknown rub Ramsey the wrong way. She believes only in facts and he likes to keep an open mind. But as the book progresses it becomes apparent that they may both be right. Also apparent is that the level headed Ramsey is unexpectedly attracted to charmer Dev. Another good plot with engaging main characters and a twist at the end. Another good book in the Audible Plus Catalogue.

There are some wonderful characters in this book. It's very well written and read. Cracking story with a fabulous twist right at the end. I'll miss Dev's company.
