Summary

Tantor Audio presents Books 1-3 in USA Today bestselling author Nancy Warren's Vampire Knitting Club series.

Lucy inherits an Oxford knitting shop...and so much more....

Like the vampires who live downstairs and pop up to the shop when they run out of wool, or for their late-night knitting club. They've even offered to help Lucy learn how to knit. She discovers she's a witch and has some quirky relatives she never knew about. Her grandmother's supposed to be dead, but keeps showing up. It's enough to send Lucy screaming back to Boston, except there's a mystery to solve and Oxford and her new vampire friends are kind of growing on her....

Accents are terrible, but the stories are good. Can tell the writer isn’t from the UK. It’s a very easy listen.

Easy listening

I really enjoyed these first 3 novels I have bought the next compendium ... a lovely listen when walking the dog

so cosy and just a pleasant listen

Nice simple storyline, great books for listening to at bedtime. But the narration is awful. The accents are terrible, the narrator seems unable to break where there are sentence ends or even paragraphs, and cannot pronounce simple words like ‘row’ as in argue. I will listen to the series of 3 because they were discounted but otherwise would have avoided

Easy to follow story, awful narration

Oh my! The narrator has a very odd way of reading. And her accents and pronunciations of English words need a lot of work. We don’t call a mirror a meeor for instance. The story is fun, but I think I’d prefer to read it for myself, rather than trying to knit while listening

Poor narration

Easy story to get into, great characters and good plots a great read looking forward to the rest of the series

Great characters
