In this fourth installment of The Vampire Diaries, trouble once more threatens the town and the characters must put their differences aside and work together. But will that be enough? This is the darkest book yet!

Walk Away
What would have made The Vampire Diaries, Book 4 better?
If it hadn't been written. The first three books I read many years ago were terrific. This one was just silly.
What do you think your next listen will be?
The very last Vampire Diaries book when it's released in October.
What aspect of Rebecca Mozo’s performance would you have changed?
Nothing; she did a good job and really put an effort into making each voice different.
What character would you cut from The Vampire Diaries, Book 4?
Elena! I'm so over this cow.
Any additional comments?
Just don't. Once you're vested, you have to listen to them all and they aren't getting any better.

Any additional comments?
Who wrote the Publisher's summary? It's not an accurate description Of this story AT ALL. I don't want to have any spoilers in here, so I can't point out the discrepancies or ask the summary writer

Hear me out, it's great, but
I really enjoy this series, I'm new to the books. I was but a wee babe when when it came out in the '90s. I really enjoyed the aspect of the gang carrying non without Elena, it got quit boring in parts, but I stuck it out cause it's one of those series. It's good, eagerly waiting for the next book! As always, love the narrator!

The fourth book in the series struck me as a horror tale that was not written to scare. The story seems to be headed one way, and suddenly changes direction with Elena saving the day ....

Not a very good book
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
If you love the TV show like I do, then book is not for you. The characters and the storyline is very strange and they hold no relation to the TV show. The show is loosley based on the books, but the writers amde it better.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Just finished The Secret Circle, Volume one and my next listen will probally be either Dracula or Love Unscripted.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Rebecca Mozo?
As this was the fourth book in the series, I thought that I might get use to her narration, but I did not. She tries too hard and at time I fund her rendition of the book a bit irrating. The lady that narrated The Secret Circle, volume one would be a much better fit to this book.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment mostly as I am absolutely obsessed with the TV Show. The books are not very good.
Any additional comments?
Stick to the TV show, if you are a fan and rather listen to the Vampire Academy.
